The Role
We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our small but mighty team in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a complex, multi-faceted product and drive its technical direction. You'll work directly with the founder and a small team of contract engineers to maintain, improve, and expand our platform.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire Knock2 tech stack, from frontend to backend
- Architect and implement new features that will shape the future of GTM technology
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems
- Collaborate with contract engineers to deliver high-quality code and features
- Work closely with the founder to align technical decisions with business goals
- Manage relationships with third-party services and API providers
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and Python
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Firebase)
- Strong backend skills (Python, Heroku)
- Experience with SQL databases (preferably Supabase)
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud architecture
- Understanding of API integrations and third-party services
- DevOps experience (CI/CD, deployment strategies)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly NLP
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tech stacks (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Previous startup experience
- Track record of leading technical teams or projects
