Frequently asked questions

Which AI tools does the Knock2 MCP work with?

Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf and any other client that supports remote MCP servers. Claude on the web and desktop connects with OAuth, so there is no key to paste; the others use a Knock2 API key. Tools cover searching contacts and accounts, visitor activity, enrichment, buying committees, CRM and sequence actions, and building workflows. See Knock2 for Claude.

Does Knock2 work with Clay?

Yes, through webhooks. Point a Knock2 webhook at a Clay table and every identified contact or account arrives as a row with name, title, company, pages and score, ready for the enrichment columns you add in Clay.

How are webhooks secured?

Every delivery is signed with HMAC-SHA256 and carries the event name in a header, so your endpoint can verify it came from Knock2. Events include account.identified, contact.identified, score.changed and play.triggered.

Can I build before connecting real traffic?

Yes. Every API endpoint has a sandbox version under /v1/sandbox that returns realistic sample data. Workflows built through the MCP are created inactive, so nothing fires until you switch them on.

Can I run Knock2 for my own clients?

Yes. Agencies and platforms can create a tenant per client with POST /v1/tenants, each with its own tracking script, API key and usage limits. See Knock2 for platforms.

How does pricing work?
