Apollo.io

Apollo.io

Add Knock2-identified contacts into your Apollo.io sequences via the Contacts tab or a Play.

How to integrate Knock2 with Apollo.io?

The Apollo.io integration lets Knock2 add the contacts it identifies on your website directly into your Apollo sequences. Connecting Apollo enables it as a destination, but it never writes data on its own — contacts are only sent when you run a Play or add them from the Contacts tab.

What you'll need

  • An Apollo.io account with API access
  • Your Apollo API key from Apollo Developer Settings
  • At least one Apollo sequence to enroll contacts into

What you can do

  • Add contacts to Apollo sequences ad-hoc from the Contacts tab
  • Automatically enroll identified contacts into sequences using Plays

How to set up Knock2 with Apollo.io?

Step 1: Connect Apollo in the App Marketplace

In the Knock2 dashboard, open the App Marketplace, find Apollo in the Sequences category, select it, and click Connect.

Step 2: Get your Apollo API key

Click the link to get the API key via Apollo Developer Settings to create or copy an existing API key. If creating a new key, give it a name, then click Create API Key.

Step 3: Paste the key into Knock2

Copy the key into Knock2 to complete the integration.

Step 4: Send contacts with a Play

Connecting Apollo will not write any data to your sequences on its own. To write data, set up a Play or add contacts to a sequence from the Contacts tab.

Good to know

  • Connecting Apollo in the App Marketplace does not write any data to your Apollo sequences by itself.
  • To send contacts, set up a Play or add them ad-hoc from the Contacts tab.
  • Contacts can be added automatically or manually.
