Attio

Attio

Sync identified contacts into Attio as People and read company, deal, and owner data back.

How to integrate Knock2 with Attio?

Attio is a flexible, data-first CRM, and the connection works in both directions. Knock2 writes the contacts it identifies into Attio as People records, matched by email so existing people are updated rather than duplicated. Knock2 also reads Company, deal, and owner data back out of Attio, matched by domain, and attaches it to your accounts and contacts so you see live pipeline context next to identified visitors.

What you'll need

  • An Attio account with permission to create an API key (access token)
  • Admin access in Knock2 to connect a workspace integration

How to set up Knock2 with Attio?

Step 1: Create your Attio API key

  1. Log in to Attio.
  2. Go to Workspace settings, then Developers.
  3. Create a new access token with permission to read and write Records so Knock2 can create and update People and read your Companies and Deals.
  4. Copy the key for the next step.

Step 2: Connect Attio in Knock2

  1. In the Knock2 dashboard, open the App Marketplace.
  2. Find Attio under the CRM category and click Connect.
  3. Paste your Attio API key and save. Knock2 validates the key before saving.

Step 3: Write contacts to Attio with a Play

  1. Go to Plays and create or edit a play.
  2. Choose Contacts as the source and set your filters.
  3. For the output, select Attio.
  4. Save and activate. Knock2 creates a People record for each matching contact and updates it if the person already exists.

Good to know

  • People are matched by email address, so contacts without an email are skipped. Phone numbers are best-effort and only written when in a standard international format.
  • Reading deal and owner data turns on automatically once Attio is connected, matched by company domain. This data is read-only inside Knock2 and appears across Contacts, Accounts, detail views, lead scoring, notifications, and the public API.
  • You can filter and segment Contacts and Accounts by Attio deal and owner data, and configure up to three custom read columns shared across HubSpot, Salesforce, and Attio.
