Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams

Send Knock2 contact and account notifications straight into your Microsoft Teams channels.

How to integrate Knock2 with Microsoft Teams?

Get a real-time alert in your Teams channel every time a high-intent visitor lands on your site, an account matches your ICP, or a workflow pushes a contact to your team. Knock2 posts notifications by sending data to a Workflow URL that Microsoft Teams gives you, so there's no app to install, no IT review, and no admin consent. Once connected, you can use Teams the same way you use Slack, including as a workflow output and across multiple channels each with their own filters.

What you'll need

  • Edit access to a Microsoft Teams channel
  • An admin or owner role on your Knock2 account

How to set up Knock2 with Microsoft Teams?

Step 1: Create the Workflow in Microsoft Teams

  1. Open the Teams channel you want notifications to land in.
  2. Click the More options button next to the channel name and choose Workflows.
  3. Select the template Post to a channel when a webhook request is received.
  4. Follow the wizard to confirm the team and channel, then copy the long HTTPS Workflow URL it gives you.

Step 2: Connect Microsoft Teams in Knock2

  1. In the Knock2 dashboard, go to Settings, then Microsoft Teams, and click Connect Microsoft Teams.
  2. Enter a channel name as a label and paste the Workflow URL you copied.
  3. Click Send test message to confirm it posts, then click Save connection.

Step 3: Choose what gets sent to this channel

  1. Use the Active toggle to pause or resume notifications.
  2. Toggle Send contact notifications and Send account notifications on or off.
  3. Optionally attach a contact filter set and an account filter set so only matching notifications are sent, then click Save changes.

Good to know

  • You can connect as many channels as you like, each with its own filters and settings, and add Microsoft Teams as an output node when building in Workflows.
  • Notifications are deduplicated per channel for 60 minutes, so a returning visitor won't re-trigger within that window.
  • Slack and Teams run independently, so you can connect Teams alongside Slack and have notifications fire to both.
